Show Special Meeting of Garland Town Board. A special meeting of the Town Board of Garland was held lu the room of the Garland Commercial Club, Friday evening, even-ing, July 10th, at which meeting the full board of Trustees was In attendance. After mil cull, reading of minutes of previous meeting and other matters of an Incidental nature, had beeu disposed of, bonds of Joseph Jensen, trustee, audit. I.. Bush, town flerk, were submitted to tho Board, duly passed upon, accepted and the rlerk Instructed to fllo that of j trustee Jensen with the towu records, ami to dellvur to Pres. Lant the executed Wind of tho town clerk. The matter of the assessed valuation of the towu property was then brought to thu utteutlou of the board' which re. suited iu tho elect lou by the president, of Jos, Jeusen as a committee of one to look into the matter and be prepared, If possible, pos-sible, to maku roport at the next regular meeting of thu board, Tho buuds of tho Club Saloon aud Stephens Bros, Saloon were presented by tho clerk, accepted by the board and the former Instructed to issue I Ureases to the respective saloons. Franchises granting to the Bear River Valloy Tel. Co. of Utah, aud the Rocky Mountain Bell Tel, Co,, the right to con-struct, con-struct, operate aud maintain telephone systems In tbo town of Garland, for a perh.d of 24 years, were presented and after having been slightly altered were accepted and the clerk Instructed to draw up the ordinance and forward to the n.'MCtive cumpaals for their consider attgu, |
