Show Farewell Social Under the auspices of the Garland Base Ball team, a farewell party was tendered Royal G.Lowe at tho Amusement Amuse-ment hall Tuesday evening, prior to his departure for a mission. The attendance was quite large and all present spent an enjoyable evening, The uet proceeds of tho party amounted amount-ed to 34.21, which was presented to bla it th.t close of the dance. ' During the evening' enjoyment, Mr. Low responded respond-ed lu expressing bis thanks to all present for thu good will manifested toward hltu. A number of nur citizens also contributed funds to asslut Mr. Lowe on his mlsskju. Mr. and Mrs, Lowe left Wednesday for Wlllard to spend p. fuw days. Mr. Lowu leaves Salt Lake for Great Brlttalu, July 25th.' Mrs. Lowu will accompany him as far as Salt Lake and return to this city agatu, after hi departure. He has tho best wishes of the entire community and In hi absence will bo remembered in their prayers. Thu Base Ball Team loose Its famous pitcher, which meau much to this organization. |
