The evening eve-ning vas enjoyably spent In various parlor par-lor games, features of the ovcnlng being enn versa! lonal and newspaper contests, for which prizes were awarded. In tho conversational contest Miss LizJo Ipsen carried ofl the prize. Each guest contributed contri-buted an article to u newspaper published that evening mill considerable merriment was created when tho paper was read. W ,1 Flfo won the prlzo in this contest by writing an article on tho pedigree of horses. Poems, advertisements, editorials, editor-ials, etc., constituted the paper and It was hii tip to-dato periodical In every ic spect. Refreshments were served and tho gentlemen prusent chose their partners for lunch anion c the ladles whoso faces were covered with paper sacks, excepting except-ing their noses, vhlch protruded through a holo in the sack.
