Show DYING TIIEOES. The Liberal Meeting at the Courthouse Last NifrM. Thomas Liddiard, of Loyal League Fame, Demonstrates Himself to 'oe an All-round All-round Blasphemer. The Liberals of Provo held a powwow pow-wow in the District Courtroom last night. About two-dozen of the faithful faith-ful turned out to show their patriotism. patriot-ism. II. E. Rawlings called the meeting meet-ing to order, and the business of the meeting, that of electing ten delegates, two from each ward, to the county convention, con-vention, was transacted. A, G. .-utherlaud was then called on for a speech, and the gentlemen responded re-sponded bv tracing the history of the Liberal party. To-day we are con-irontedby con-irontedby a different aspect, that ot dividing on national lines, but the speaker did not believe the Mormons were sincere in e move. He hoped, however, that August 4th would see the last of the Chinch and anti-church parties, and he would then believe in the sincerity of the Mormon people. Judge Jones then talked on the political po-litical situation. He did not think the People's party acted in good faith in the past, and therefore he could not trust them in the future. W. S. That the Liberals of Provo have no faith in the pretended disbanding dis-banding of the People's party, and that the safety of American citizens in Utah depends on the solidification of the Liberal party. Therefore, We believe that every American, whether native-born or naturalized, nat-uralized, shall have and will exercise l'ie riuht to vote. This resolution was adopted. Thomas Liddiard then got up and made a speech, which for vulgarity, blasphemy and all-around rottenness stands unparalleled even in the Liberal Lib-eral party.
