Show PK0V0 TO TIXTIC. Arrangements All Completed for a Through Transportation. Captain De Moisey. of the Utah Lake Transportation Co., went to Eureka on Saturday and completed arrangements for a transportation line between here and Tmtic. Trains will leave the bank corner at 8 o'clock in the morning, connecting con-necting with the steamer at the Lake Resort. The steamer will then run across the lake and connect with the stHge from Eureka. The entire trip to Eureka will be made in less time tiian it can be made by rail and at a much cheaper rate, the" difference in ttie fare being $1.25 in favor of the steamer line. Freight will also be taken much cheaper than tiie railway company takes it. The establishment of this line should be a big help to the residents of Provo. as it will undoubtedly undoubt-edly promote business between the two towns. The first trip will be made on Tuesday, Tues-day, July 28th. The company will make trips every other morning thereafter there-after until everything is adjusted, and then trips will lie made every day. An excursion will no doubt be in order before be-fore many days. Captain De Moisey thinks he could have arranged for one j 1 if he had had time. |
