After recess quotath ns were given m response to the roll call, Mrs. Coray giving Longfellow's ''Sandalphon" and Miss Dulin reciting "Maud Mailer." The foreign newB given by Miss Jennie French and the domestic by Mrs. R.se, gave rise to questions and discussion, Senator Reid'e ruling and the industrial army being discussed at length, Misa J. E. Kellogz's paper on art collections in America was interestingly interest-ingly given. As the critic was absent the members had a lively time criticising each other. The session closed on time. j |
