The manv warm friends here of that i strong and well liked team of mer I chants at Nephi, Hyde & Whitmore, were pained to read in Sunday's Salt 1 Lake Tribune a special from Nepfii I which eave alleged facts that led to 1 the conclusion that the Hyde & Wb.it-more Wb.it-more building at Nephi, which con tains a stock of merchandise valued at $20,000, a newspaper ullice, photograph I gallery, barber shop and two banks, I was on Saturday night totally des- 1 troved by fire, or nearly eo. Several at- 1 tempts were made to get Nephi by teie- I phone but the office there is not kept J open on Sunday. Oo the arrival here I of the afternoon train it was learned I that the loss by fire waB not great. I The following are the particulars as I given by the Nephi Courier: I "A tire started in the Courier office last night bv the accidental overturning I of a lamp.
