News was received here at noon to-day to the effect that Miss Coulter,a misson teacher teach-er at Filmore. Utah, under the au-spie- of the Home Mission board of ti e Pivsbyterie.n church in the United States, has iriven up her earlv faith and espoused the cause of the Latter-day Latter-day Saints. This fact was sent to the Home Mission board headquarters in .'ew York, and they at once wired the church in Utah to investigate the ea-e. and Rev. .Tosiah McLean, of Ogden, is now at Fillmore, iu southern south-ern Utah, for that purpose. Miss Coulter Coul-ter is prominently connected in the east, and has been a long time in the s"rv ice of mission work. She has lived in Utah for several yetrs and is entirely en-tirely conversant with things as they are. She is the sister of Presidentelect President-elect Coulter, of the Indiana state un-iveisity. un-iveisity. She is known throughout the east and has figured as a zealous mission mis-sion worker in the church of her choice. The new s of her change of church relations re-lations has created widespread attention atten-tion both in this country and Xew York. |
