Show A FATAL GATE-IN Sad Death of Charles Stewart - of Spanish Fork. He Receives Severe tnternal Injuries in Fleming's Brick Yard. From the Effects of Which He Dies Early Yesterday Morning. On Monday morning about half-past eight a. m. Charles Stewart, a young man about 25 y ears of age, met with a severe accident, from the injuries of which he died yesterday morning about 3 o'clock. The young man was employed at the Fleming's brickyard, east of this city, and while working in the clay bank it caved in, crushing the young man against a cart which was being loaded at the time. lie was picked up and brought to the Excelsior Excel-sior Hotel. Doctors Fike and Shores were summoned. After examination they gave it as their opinior that no bones were broken, but that he might have received severe internal injuries. This proved true, as he died from the effect of the accident at the time stated above. Coroner Twelves summoned a jury, ! who returned a verdict that deceased came to Iris death by the caving in of a clay bank, no blame being attached to any (:;e. |
