Show First District Court. The First District Court convened at 10 o'clock yesterday morning with Judge Blackburn on the bench. Julius Jensen, a resident of Provo, was admitted to citizenship. The case of the First Ward Pasture Co.. vs. William Strong et al. was then taken up. King & Iloutz and John B. Milner appeared for the plaintiff and Booth & Wilson for the defendant. The plaintiff in this case took out an injunction against the defendants in order to stop them from traveling through the First Ward Pasture on the way to their land. The defense claimed that the road had been used for the past thirty years before the pasture company was organized. The case occupied the whole day and His Honor finally granted a right of way one of and one-half rods wide ' through the pasture to the land owned j by defendants. "The court then adjourned until 10 l o'clock this morning. |
