Show John Hood, jovial and genial as ever, Carbon county's representative in the first state legislature of Utah, was in Provo this morning. He stopped stop-ped off last night on his way home from Salt Lake and Mrs. Hood who has been visiting with relatives here since Monday went home with him this morning. Members of the fourth ecclestical ward are indulging themselves in a great deal of fan and social merriment, and it is a very good und appropriate season of the year in which to do it, even if the political campaign Is on and very hot. The old folks of the ward were treated to a sumptuous dinner din-ner at 1 o'clock today and as this issue goes to press they are enjoying a splendid splen-did concert. Later in the afternoon und early evening a dance for children is to be given. Tomorrow evening a picnic dance ia to be given for the younger mained people and young folks. All people in the ward inespec-tive inespec-tive of religion have been invited to join in the festivities during this two day reunion. |
