PC WOMEN’S GOLF 18 HOLE LEAGUE The Park City Women’s Golf Association has rescheduled its 18-hole league spring social for Wednesday, June 5 at 5:30 p.m. The event costs $25, and includes a full meal with beverages and dessert. The event will discuss details of the upcoming season, including its weekly flighted games, and is open to all women. ADULT SWIM CLINICS Become a stronger swimmer with Basin Recreation’s adult swim clinics through May 30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. at The Fieldhouse. The clinics are open to anyone over the age of 15 interested in learning how to swim, improving stroke technique or becoming more efficient in the water. Cost is $80. Park City takes state tennis title through third singles win BEN RAMSEY On Saturday, the Park City Miners boys tennis team took the Class 4A state title when sophomore Will Efrusy defeated Bonneville’s senior Brecken Bernard in the third singles championship at Liberty Park in three sets. Efrusy knew the Miners boys tennis team’s state championship bid rested on his shoulders as his match against Bernard stretched out. Efrusy had been there before: it was his second three-set match on day two of the tournament, and one of many over the course of the season, including his win for the Region 11 championship over Bernard on May 8, when he beat him 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
