Show B4 Castle Valley Review, March 2009 A Night with the Stars W hen the Emery All-Stars cheer team learned they had the opportunity to go to the national competition in Los Angeles they weren’t going to let anything stop them from getting there, including the price tag. But raising enough money to pay for expenses for the trip was no small feat and the team knew they had a challenge ahead of them. To raise money for the trip the team started a number of fundraisers, ending their efforts with a huge night of dance and cheer at Emery High School. A Night with the Stars brought dance and cheer groups from all over Emery and Carbon Counties together to give their best and by the end of the night Becky Bunnell, Emery AllStars coach reported that the girls had reached their goal and the trip to the nationals was going to become a reality. The All-Stars never had any doubts. Groups who performed during “A Night with the Stars” included: Emery All-Star Dazzlers, Emery High School Cheerleaders, San Rafael Junior High Cheerleaders, Emery All-Star Elites, D-Motion-Does Your Chain Hang Low, Larae;s Dance Studio – Spinners, D-Motion – I Like to Move It, Mont Harmon Junior High Cheerleaders, Emery High School Drill Team, Canyon View Junior High Cheerleaders, One Step Above – Little Step Dancers, EU Adrenaline Mini All-Stars, Carbon High School Cheerleaders, Larae’s Dance Studio – Big Brass Band, Carbon All-Star Juniors, One Step Above – One Step Dancers, EU Adrenaline Senior All-Stars, Larae’s Dance Studio – Walking on Sunshine, Carbon All-Stars Seniors, Diva Dance Studio – Krazy, and EU Adrenaline Elite All-Stars.
