The tournament began for the Lady Dinos against the Grantsville Cowboys on Feb. 26. The Lady Dinos started the game strong with a 13-9 lead in the first and kept that same momentum through the rest of the game. They ended the first half with a score of 27-18. In the second game on Feb. 27 the Lady Dinos found themselves facing the 2008 State Champion Wasatch Lady Wasps. The Dinos fought as hard as they could, but try as they might, none of their shots seemed to fall. They ended the first quarter with a score of 3-7, Wasatch.
