WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2009 • A5 Milestone Wedding Ilean Wilkinson Hazel Carter, Jackson Harley and Oakley are excited to announce the marriage of their Mom, Tiffany Carter to Adam Jackson on Oct. 23. Tiffany is the daughter of Robert and Gay le Davies. Adam is the son of Peggy and the late Gary Jackson all of Spanish Fork. Tiffany and Adam both graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 2000. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7-9 p.m. at the LDS Church located at 1486 East 130 North in Spanish Fork. But the most outstanding event that occurred in 1929 was the birth of our Mom. Ilean Wilkinson Hazel was born Oct. 23, 1929 in Leland, Utah. Ilean is an excellent homemaker and cook. She is a master quilter, having quilts displayed at the Springville Art Museum Quilt Show and making sure every family member has one. She enjoys gardening, home-canning, traveling and fishing. Ilean has been known to "skunk" other fishermen a time or two. Dean's endearing husband of 62 years is Arland L. Hazel. They were married Aug. 4, 1947 in Provo. They have resided in Salem most of their lives. They have five children: Arlean and Doug Shepherd, Lynn and Janet Hazel, June and Richard Morgan, Kathy and Ron Bishop, and Blaine and Jennifer Hazel. Ilean says her crowning glory are their 18 grandchildren, 35 great grand children and six step-great grandchildren. We are planning an 80th birthday celebration.
