Measom, son of Rob and Stacey Measom of Spanish Fork, has recently returned from the Chile Concepcion South Mission. He will speak in the Meadowlark first ward sacrament service on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 11 a.m., 870 East Canyon Road, Spanish Fork. He is the grandson of Robert and Erma Measom and Scott and Jackie Hone of Pay son, and David and Myrna Fillmore of Boise, Idaho. He is the great-grandson of Jack late Curtis Fillmore and and Jual Daniels of Pay- Clyde and Dixie Hone of son and Maretta and the Spanish Fork. GRANT: On Monday, Aug. 10, Art and Joann Janes presented Spanish Fork Senior Center Assistant Director Leah Butler with a check for $1,000. The money is a grant from the Fraternal Order of the Eagles to support activities at the senior center. "We're going to make good use of this," said Butler. He will report to the Provo MTC on Aug. 26, 2009. Elder Scott will speak on Sunday, Aug. 16 in the Spanish Fork 15th ward at 9 a.m. at 1006 East 200 South, Spanish Fork. He is the son of Layne and Tresa Scott and grandson of Janet Scott, Spanish Fork and Lila McCurdy, West Elder Chad D. Hall has returned from serving a mission for the' Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints in the California Sacramento Spanish Speaking Mission. He will be speaking on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. in the Birdseye Branch, located in Birdseye. He will also be greeting family, friends and guests at the family home in Birdseye after the meeting. Hall Elder Harrison Michael Black, son of Fred and Connie Black formerly of Spanish Fork, returned home Aug. 12 after his faithful service to the people of the Argentina Neuquen Mission. He will be speaking in the Nephi fourth ward, 1125 North 400 East, Nephi on Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. He is the grandson of G. Jay and Arva Hughes. Garrett Wayne Hurst, age 31, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Aug. 3, 2009. He is the son of Wayne Harold and Maureen Johnson Hurst, born June 18, 1978 in Payson. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1996. Garrett will be missed by all who knew him. He had a big heart and was a friend to all those around him; making friends came easily to him. He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his nephews many hours hiking, campand nieces. Garrett loved ing, fishing, skateboarding, the outdoors.
