Mount the pictures on some cardstock and on the back, write the name of the person in the photo, the address, contact names and phone numbers. It is best to have individual pictures instead of a group photo because the person is more recognizable. It would also be a good idea to have the pictures laminated. Each person in the family will need a set of every person in their family. These will need to be updated every year. The best time to do this is when Write a letter to the editor. Better yet, get your digital camera, print out everybody's picture and get the cards made up before school starts. You can also put any medical instructions for problems such as allergies, asthma, diabetes, etc. on the back of the pictures before you laminate them. You should also include a letter from you, their parents, with instructions of what to do in case of an emergency at school and what to expect from you. Also, include a letter of assurance that all will be well and that you will be together again as a family. Putting this kit together is very important and will give your children a sense of security and control that is priceless — whether they are in kindergarten, high school or college. My corn is coming along well. Not quite ready yet, but it won't be too long. Here on our farm we have one more grain field to combine and then that will be finished for another- year. We're about mid-way through the summer harvests and looking forward to October when we will be done. The crops have been good, and we're grateful for such a blessing. On TV the other day, they interviewed a farmer somewhere in Texas. They were standing in what was supposed to be a corn field. The corn was only as tall as the farmer's shoulder and he was showing a pitiful ear of corn. There was only the husk and little or no corn. If it wasn't for OUF Strawberry Reservoir, we would be in the same situation. If we had to depend on rainfall to mature our crops — well, this valley would not look the same, and our lives would be very different. bryant We service all makes and models Scheduled maintenance Tune-up-dingnostic scan Oil Change Cooling/Heating Electrical Full suspension Hooting A Cooling Systems WHATEVER IT TAKES 798-1700 * COLLISION REPAIR z We pay up to $ 2 0 0 of your " insurance deductible. —- Call for details 281 West 2050 North, Spanish Fork | 794-0075 The Sentinel |
