Kelly has alwavs done what is right in his life. He is a true example of the way a leader should be. Gary Larsen,. Meadow Lark 2nd. Gary is always a great example to the young men on our team. He is a leader in every sense of the word. He always shows his love of life and is a great influence. He is always volunteering to do service for those in need. Rowe Hakes, Meadow Lark 2nd. Rowe is a very honorable man. He always gives 110% and never quits. He is a great example to all those around him. Bradley Bates, Wolf Hollow 2nd. Bradley is faithful and reliable in giving leadership to the program side. He has good relationships with the young men, generous with his time and resources. He gets things done. Brad Cobb, Wolf Hoi- ; low 2nd. Brad is a very solid and faithful leader. He '% is good with the young men, an excellent teacher and instructor. Lynn Hunter, Wolf Hollow 2nd. Lynn is a very strong and committed Scoutmaster. He runs a strong program with 20 boys. He is very reliable and he always helps the boys with their advancement and outdoor programs. Melanie Hunter, Wolf Hollow 2nd. Melanie has a tremendous vision of the scouting program. She sees the great value and benefit that scouting is to the young men in our community. She works very hard to share her vision and commitment to scouting. Jason Jarvis, Wolf Hollow 2nd. Jason is a great asset to our troop. He is always willing to take any as- From MERIT • B8 a whole. He is involved in the boys' learning and progress and wants them to succeed. They know his love for them and thrive on the positive encouragement he has to give. If Kay C. cannot carry out a duty himself, he will research and find someone with "knowledge to do so. Anything helpful to the boys, he will spend hours of his own personal time to make it happen. Many boys have succeeded in their scouting goals, and have become strong leaders themselves. Our community is better because of the great service of Kay C. Whittaker. . SUB-DISTRICT: COMMUNITY CREW Janice Lowe, SF/Salem Area Chamber of Commerce. Janice has served as the Webelos Leader for 2 xh years. During that time, she spent a week at Wood Badge, and earned her Wood Badge Beads. In addition to serving in the stake Young Women's presidency, Janice continues to volunteer as an Associate Advisor in our co-ed community Venturing Crew. Janice "has found the leadership training material in the Venturing program to be a valuable resource in her stake Young Women's calling. Janice also serves on our District Cub Scout Training Committee. lessly without recognition. Karla Froelich, 2nd Ward, Karla is 100% a "go-the-extra-mile" person. She has served tirelessly for 9 years in many capacities with little recognition. Matthew Froelich, 2nd Ward. Matthew has been a great leader and supporter of the scouting organization for many years in the Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs. He truly sees the value of the scouting program and instills it in our youth. Chad Heward, 2nd Ward. Chad serves with everything he has. He's a great leader and motivates others. Scott Johnson, Wolf Hollow 2nd. p o r m a n y y e a r s Scott has been a cons t a n t e x a m p i e of service in scouting, Scott has worked hard to truly teach the principles that scouting promotes t o t h e s c o u t leaders he serves with and to the boys themselves. Derrick Larsen, Wolf Hollow 2nd. Derrick Majored in Scouting Leadership at BYU where he gained a strong understanding and respect for the scouting program. He is a great contribution to our young men. which serves him well, as well as the young men that he leads. He has served for many years in many different positions. Doug Brown, Wolf Hollow 1st. Doug has worked many years with young men as Scoutmaster, Venturing Advisor and Varsity Coach. His love and commitment to young men spans a lifetime. Karen Brown, Wolf Hollow 1st. Karen is truly willing and desires for each boy's success. She has been inspirational in her example and leadership in our scouting program. SUB-DISTRICT: SALEM Kevin Auger, Salem Sub-District. Kevin has served the young men for many years. He has provided training to many of the scout leaders and COR's. He works closely with his Units to provide help and encouragement in their efforts. Nate Crow, Cherry Ridge Ward. Nate is a quality man, devoted to his scouts and excited about scouting. He works to help the boys become better leaders. Mike Wilson, Salem 8th. Mike has a quick smile that matches his quick wit and quick willingness to say 'yes' to scouting. He is currently an excellent Unit Commissioner. Kerry Durfey, Salem 11th. Kerry is very invested in our youth and in the scouting program. He oversees and supports the family of scouting in our ward. His desire to bless the lives of youth is manifest in his countless hours of continual service. John McMullin, Salem John has worked for many 11th. years with the young men in teaching them the values of scouting.
