Professionals from throughout the community presented to the students. Above, Dana Robinson talks about some of his experiences working in public relations. Canyon FEATURED SOLOIST: The SFHS Orchestra will perform their spring concert on Tuesday, April 22, 7 p.m. It will include performances by SFHS Philharmonic Strings and Chamber Strings, with a trombone solo by Nathan Hill. Nathan Hill has played the trombone for six years. He is a junior at SFHS. He is a member of the SFHS concert band, jazz band, marching band and symphony. He has toured with the Utah Valley Youth Symphony and has played in Carnegie Hall. Nathan was recently selected to play in a sideby-side concert with the Utah Symphony. Nathan studies with Carson Sharp. He is the son of David and Laurel Hill. The forms are placed in a box at the office and winners are chosen from a weekly drawing. Winners get a coupon for a free pizza from Pier 49 Pizza in Spanish Fork. They congratulated the students for working hard and making their individual reading goals. They discussed the importance of reading and how they will use reading though out their lives. PRESIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION: On President's Day, Mrs. Wilson's first grade class wrote a letter to President George W. Bush. They recently received a letter back. President Bush told them to study hard, set high goals, and make good choices in their lives. It was very exciting to get a letter from the President of the United States of America!
