Now she can say, "Hey! I've fought off homework, children, and fires!" Raquel Kramer This year at Spanish Fork High School, we welcome several new teachers. One of these is Ms. Kramer. She is a BYU graduate who majored-in * Social Studies; -*- Kramer says she likes SFHS because the administration is supportive, and encouraged her to get to know the students at the school. She likes how the students seem to accept newcomers, and how they get along. Kramer loves sports, especially volleyball and biiskeilwll. She is also a clog dancer. Tim Braithwaite Tim Braithwaite laughed when I told him we were interviewing new teachers at Spanish Fork High school. He explained that he had been a math teacher for 26 years, then became the assistant principal and principal of Spanish Fork High. He worked at the Nebo School District office, and then retired. Braithwaite came out of retirement two years ago to teach at another high school and has now come back to Spanish Fork. Braithwaite has a passion for sports. Todd Herbert from Todd's CDL Training School brought his diesel truck during lunch to discuss with students a possible career choice that makes $35,000 or more a year. Herbert has had his driving school in Spanish Fork for two years and teaches classes from here to Brigham City. He told the student they could begin training as soon as they turn 18. The trucks can have up to 18 gears, and first gear can only go up to three miles an hour. Mrs. Thomas, who is over the internships at SFHS, brings in a vocational guest speaker each month.
