Show 18 FIESTA DAYS 2007 Booster Club Breakfast a 20-year tradition Steve Hard man EDITOR What started out as a way to feed sojne hungry runners and make a Tittle money has turned into one of the longest-standing Fiesta Days traditions: the Booster Club Breakfast. Since 1987, supporters of Spanish Fork High School athletics have been serving breakfast on the morning on July 24, following the Speedy Spaniard Road Race. Now known as the Spanish Fork Football Booster Club Breakfast, the event's origin and popularity owe much to original Don supporters Steve Wilson, Paul Christensen, Chuck Bennett and Gary Briggs. "To help make people more aware of the programs and to get more people involved, we started it," said Christensen. ltWe had a lot of fun doing it. The tradition just carried on."
