Spanish Fork already has 10 miles of paved trails and several other trails are in the planning and developing stages. These trails are being created with the best materials and the latest techniques available. Chris Thompson speaks to Kiwanis - Chris Thompson, assistant city engineer, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club. He reviewed the history of Spanish Fork as it relates to it's trail systems and parks. He then told the group about future plans for the city. He pointed out that Spanish Fork has the most pro-active stand on trai-ls and parks in all of Utah County. There are currently ten miles of paved trails in Spanish Fork. These trails are made of the best materials and are made with the latest techniques available. Several new trails are in the planning or developing stages. The city is to be commended for its efforts. Kiwanis president Mark Nelson conducted. Deloris Nelson led the singing. J. Wayne Nelson led the pledge and Eugene Colledge gave the prayer. A delicious roast beef dinner was enjoyed at the Canyon View Park. Paul Hawker arranged for the speaker and introduced him to the group.
