Show Wasatch Canyon Reporter New Gear: Voile’s Split Decision Snowboard — Their are two growing areas in the ski industry, snowboarding, and backcountry skiing. Voile, the hip tele-oriented company based in Salt Lake has leapt on both trends with the coolest piece of gear ever to originate in the Wasatch: Split Decision. The Voile Split Decision is a snowboard craftily designed in two pieces to facilitate back country access. The Split board can be ridden like a normal snowboard, skied like a pair of fat powder skis, or used to skin up mountains in the back country.
