Park City Recreation Card (Locals Card). The Locals Card can Going on her seventh summer, Katie Ahren’s and her mobile deli provide Little Cottonwood Canyon visitors, locals and employees with a panoramic place to lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon, or for a break at lunch time during the week. Located in the Albion Basin the kickstand offers the best view of any sandwich stand I’ve ever been to. Plus the homemade lemonade and cookies would thrill the most picky customer. | Katie’s is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In addition to the cookies and lemonade, she offers a basic selection of sandwiches (meat eaters and vegetarians wel- be obtained after having residency in Park City for six months. The primary advantage to the Locals Card is ‘access to the Park City municipal golf course at bargain prices. Fifteen dollars for a full round of golf on one of the nicest municipal courses is a bargain. It is very slick and allows you access to an archive of old outside magazines, current forums, and upcoming articles. It was fun to check out the spring avalanche forum and see our own Bruce Tremper espousing some of his wealth of knowledge. For the most part the Hyper text links ( a graphic text interface allows you to move between pages) worked flawlessly. I impressed by “Outside’s” effort, that web was and I recommend you check it out. (Anyone who uses compuserve, Prodigy and America On-Line can access the internet. In addition, Universities are wonderful resources for getting services like access to the internet for free.) _ Molly Green’s. At the tippy-top of Big Cottonwood Canyon road, Molly Green’s is nearly impossible to find unless one knows where to look. The best way to locate it is to park in the Brighton lot and walk to the base of the Majestic Lift. To the skier’s left of the lift, one will find a little green sign that says “Molly Green’s Private Club.” The “Private Club” part means a sponsor is needed, so be prepared to solicit one immediately after entering. Molly Green’s is the CzH;0H opposite of the Tap Room. They have a multifarious beer selection as well asa full liquor assortment. The atmosphere is cozy and properly barlike. AND they have great food. The daily soup and entree specials have never failed to please and the menu contains a wide variety of regular items that have so far all been delicious. It’s a little out of the way - but definately worth the trip. Don’t race up just yet - opens for summer on 01 July! | rT current technology to it’s best abili- |
