The film is interspersed with slick fades, and other trickery. Thankfully this augments, not overshadows the film. The film is not without flaws however. Mr. Dungan displays an almost complete disdain for any kind of protective gear. All of the riders ride terrain that is hazardous without helmets or any other safety gear. One scene in particular is prepos‘terous. Three riders cruise down a ski slope, presumably after the season is closed. The woman in the scene is resplendent in her tight uncomfortable jeans, that no doubt weighed a ton after the soaking beaters she took.I am all for not embracing high tech trends, but brain-buckets are a must and some biking pants would not have been overkill. At times the movie is a bit slow paced, but that is the worst of it’s flaws. This is not a film for those hankering for the bloody World Cup style action. It is a movie for those who appreciate the cerebral side of biking. If you enjoy epic scenery, great cutting edge music, and skilled riders no matter what their on, then this film is for you.
