Johnson married his nurse after spending 18 months in military hospitals and the couple has a son. Dr. Ekins also has a personal interest in improving the airport. He uses a private plane to commute between his optometry offices in Evanston and Afton, Wyo., and to fly to his fruit farm in Provo at least once a week to supervise work. Mr. Hansen, who has managed tiie airport for two jears, has brought a varied background of experience to help m upgrading the facility's reputation. He began flying in 1942 at an Air Force pilot training school and flew cargo planes during World War II. He received his mechanics and instructors ratings in 1945.
