An All GaJI briefing is scheduled for 6 am-7:30 a.m., 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. and 4 p'm.-5:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 at the Base Theater. All Airmen and civilians ara'encouraged to attend. •_. The Spread the Word briefing provides information on personnel issues and delivery transformation, as well as allows all Air Force members direct fece-to-face contact with AFPC personnel to address concerns and provide feedback. •' Specific topics covered in the Spread the Word briefings will include, among others, 365-day deployment options, the Global AEF tempo-banding system, civilian hiring procedures and assignment processes. The teams also include military and civilian assignments experts, as well as deployment experts, who will be available for questions after each Spread the Word briefing session. -. Road work on Southgate Drive until Aug. 21 ; A partial road closure remains in effect along Southgate Drive for the southernmost outbound lane adjacent to Buildings 240 and 245 for a length of £bout 150 yards to install a curb, gutter and storm drain tie-in. ; The lane will be closed during construction through Aug. 21. Highway 89 work keeps southbound ramp closed i Hill Air Force Base employees Rising U.S. Highway 89 to get to 4nd from work are advised that the southbound ramp from U.S. 89 in Layton to State Route 193 will remain closed for two weeks. Motorists who would normally access the north Layton area and Hill AFB via thespu^ibQMng'.S.R.,193.ramp,,,,-;, • are advised to use Hobbs Creek Drive (the frontage road adjacent to southbound U.S. 89) to access S.R. 193. The entrance to Hobbs Creek Drive is located 5/8 of a mile south of the S.R. 193 interchange with U.S. 89. Other delays could affect U.S. 89 from 200 North in Kaysville to South Weber Drive, including nighttime asphalt and concrete paving shoulderwork. The project is expected to take at least eight weeks.
