The ceremony was officiated by Judge Parley Baldwin. The bride is the daughter of John and Chris Engberson of Plain City. Parents of the groom are John and Gerrie McFarland and Michael Christensen of Liberty. The bride chose Misti Kosoff as her matron of honor, and Amy Fillpot and Ashlee Cook as her bridesmaids. Flower girls wee Hadlee Boren, Hayley Boren, Kylee Boren, and Marissa Christensen. Dustin Smith and Craig Smith shared the duties of best man, with Jason Christensen; and Tylor and Shane Engberson as groomsmen. Gus Christensen was the ring bearer. The bride graduated from Weber High School, and works at Brigham Implement Company. The bridegroom also graduated from Weber High School, and works for Joy A. Ward and Doug Stephens. Amanda Stevenson and Klave Chandler will be married Sunday, November 1, 2003 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. The parents of the bride are Christopher and Mavis Stevenson of Huntsville. The parents of the groom are Kirk and Allis Chandler of Weiser, Idaho. The bride is a graduate of Pomona High School of Arvada, Colorado; and Bon Lossee Academy of Hair Design. She served an LDS Mission in Padova, Italy. The bridegroom served an LDS Mission in Arcadia, California. After a honeymoon trip to Cancun, the couple will continue their studies at BYUIdaho. The new couple will live in South Ogden, and plan to spend their honeymoon in Las Vegas in December. She was born September 29, 1923, to Leland J. and Ellen Harrison Montgomery, in North Ogden. She attended elementary and junior high school in Huntsville, and graduated from Weber High School. She married Harley W. Heines September 13, 1941. He died July 13, 1962. They had three children: Brent (Marsha) Heines, Bryan Heines (deceased), and Renee Mercik (Ed) Chow. She then married Jim Wangsgard July 29, 1966. He died Feb. 22, 1986. Her stepchildren are Kay (Victor) Schmidt, Lynn (Ken) Beily, Jeri Ann (Mike) Flores, and Jim (Tory) Wangsgard. She has 18 grandchildren, 22 greatgrandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She retired from Hill Air Force Base after 30 years as a computer technician. Huntsville, Utah HUNTSVILLE - Doris Thelma Wheeler Stanfill, 74, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2003 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born January 21, 1929 in Clinton, Massachusetts to Herman Bruce and Florence Louise Kreuzer Wheeler. She married Peter Melnikoff and they later divorced. She married Wesley Brooks Stanfill on March 7, 1997. She was raised by her step-father Charles Wing. She was a member of the Middlefork LDS Ward and held many callings, including visiting teacher coordinator. She was employed by See”s Candies for over 40 years. She was loving and kind. Surviving are her husband Bill of Huntsville; one daughter, Nancy (Bruce) Land, Ogden; two step-daughters, Judith Ann (David) Citron, California; Karen Sue (David) Ispon, Ohio; two grandchildren, D.J. (Erica) Millett and Justin (Ketti) Hackleman; six step-grandchildren: Tami, Robert, Daniel, Michael, Rachel, Katie; five great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Jerika, Nick, Noelle, Ace; and numerous adopted children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Loise (Gerald) Thompson, Liberty; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Michael Melnikoff. Funeral services were held on Monday, September 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Stake Center, 6450 E. 1900 N., Eden. Interment, Eden Mountain View Cemetery. Send condolences to family at www.myers-mortuary.com Ray Christofferson PLEASANT VIEW Ray Christofferson, 59, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2003. Ray passed from the loving arms of his wife and daughters into the loving arms of his son, sister and father waiting for him in Heaven. He was born May 7, 1944 in Pleasant View, the son of Glen R. and Laura Buckley Christofferson. He attended Weber County Schools, graduating from Weber High School in 1962. He married Judy Amidan on February 11, 1967, after which they continued to reside in Pleasant View. Ray retired from the Utah National Guard after 25 years of service.
