Show Page 16 The OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Volume II, Issue I October 1999 Sports News Weber High School to Offer Wrestling Clinic Weber High School (WHS) will be offering a wrestling clinic for boys in Kindergarten through eighth grade. The clinic will be held at Weber High School in Pleasant View October 25 through October 30. Clinic registrants should wear t-shirts and shorts or sweats. Cost of the clinic is $25.00 with clinic t-shirt, or $20.00 if you do not wish to obtain a t-shirt. Instructors for the clinic will be the WHS coaches and wrestlers. CLINIC SCHEDULE: October 21: Registration WHS gym. 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. October 25: First Practice WHS gym. 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. October 26: Second Practice WHS gym 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. October 27: Third Practice WHS gym 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. October 28: Fourth Practice WHS gym 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. October 29: Fifth Practice WHS gym 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. October 30: Little League Tournament WHS gym 9:00 a.m. All participants in the Little League Tournament will receive medals. The practices will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting November 8th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Any wrestler under the age of 8 years must have a parent in attendance to help learn and teach the techniques. All other parents are Date 10/16 10/23 11/06 invited to attend when and if possible. The instructors for this course are: Craig Dart and Cam Prisk, both very experienced and qualified to teach the techniques required to be successful.
