Margaret Ward September 23, 1938 ~ July 2, 2016 Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Margaret Ward passed away peacefully on July 2, 2016. She was born September 23, 1938 in Ogden, Utah Margaret Ward to Robert Caldwell and Thelma Howard. She married her sweetheart, Anthony R. Ward, on June 17, 1957. Their marriage was later solemnized on September 30, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. Margaret was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in her many callings. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, snowmobiling, and solving crossword puzzles. She loved Randy Dalton May 11, 1950 ~ June 29, 2016 Randy Earl Dalton was born May 11, 1950 in Price, Utah to Cecil Dalton and Verna Grundvig. His dad later married Arthella Foote, and settled in Clinton, Utah. In his blendRandy Dalton ed family he had a total of fourteen siblings: Chuck, Clark, Joann, Fran, Ron, Lorna, Dave, Cathy, Jesse, Frank, Felix, Martin, Clarence, and Joe. Randy married his sweetheart Sandra Ann Fullmer in 1968. The following year they welcomed their first daughter, Sherice Ann. Then came Jude Nephi; a few years later, Angel Arthella; and, finally, Crystal Beth. During this time Randy developed a strong love for the gospel of Jesus Christ and became a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. He had an enviable gift for memorization, and his ability to quote scripture was incredible! Though, he didn’t limit that gift to just scripture; he was—without question—Bob Dylan’s biggest fan and he would quote entire Bob Dylan songs to anyone who would listen— and for as long as they would listen. He moved his family to Liberty, Utah in 1978. He called it his “piece of heaven.” He also started a successful floor-covering store in Ogden, which has now been in business for 38 years. A little later in life he bought a HarleyDavidson and, never being one to do things small, he started his own motorcycle “gang.” He lived passionately, loved deeply, and was fierce- watching Jazz games and enjoyed traveling. Her main passion was spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband, her children Charlotte (Jay) Ellis, Mary (Gary) Green, Cathy (Troy) Barrett, Rebeca (Dan) Lockwood, and Chris (Alana) Ward; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and her sister Melba Larsen. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Curtis Ward; brothers R.C. Caldwell, Larry Caldwell, and Jerry Howard; and granddaughter, Jodi Ellis. Special thanks to Envision Health Care and family members for their love and support. Funeral services were held Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Liberty 1st Ward, 4279 N. 3300 E., Liberty. Interment will be at the Liberty Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at <www.myers-mortuary.com> ly loyal. In return he was loved dearly, made many faithful friends, and his life was full of wonderful experiences. He could tell a story that had you enthralled or a joke that would always make you laugh, even though, chances are, it wasn’t the first time you’d heard him tell it. He was a fanatic about hunting, and loved wholesome poker games with his family and friends; he especially loved teaching his grandsons to play. Randy is survived by his fourteen siblings (including many loving nieces and nephews); his adoring wife; his four children and their children, who are: Sherice’s three sons, Chance (m. Jordan) Clarke, and Jaden and Preston Dunn; Jude’s two children, Wyatt and Avery Dalton; Angel’s four children, Dylan (m. Kennedy) Rogers, Tayton and Lexi Bybee, and Jerzie Winn; Crystal’s five children, Cody, Blakely, Porter, Tyler, and Brianna Barton; daughter-inlaw Natalie Dalton; and two sons-in-law, Jason Johnson and David Barton. He was also so proud to be the great-grandpa of Saige Clarke. Many hearts broke June 29, 2016 when heaven quietly took him home. But just as Bob Dylan said, “Behind every beautiful thing, there’s been some kind of pain,” though our parting is painful, Randy gave us some of the most beautiful memories we have, and we are better people because he loved us. Funeral Services were held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the North Fork LDS Ward, 4279 N. 3300 E. Interment at the Meadow View Cemetery in Eden. Services entrusted to Lindquist Mortuary.
