The OVN is extending the invitation to anyone born on, or before, 1945 that spent time growing up or residing in Ogden Valley or Ogden Canyon. You may also bring a partner. This reunion will provide an opportunity to renew old friendships and visit with those schoolmates that you may not have seen in years. Plan on bringing copies of your favorite old photos, stories, and memo- ries that reflect life in Ogden Valley as it once was. The OVN is interested in acquiring copies of many of these stories and photos for use in future editions of the paper. If you know of anyone who would be interested in attending, please notify them of this upcoming event. Light refreshments will be served. July 4th Arm Wrestling Champs An annual favorite at Liberty Days is the Arm Wrestling Competition. This year the weather was perfect and all 62 competitors put on a great show. There was a lot of new faces and some awesome long drawn out matches, especially in the Women’s Division. Valley News Students from Old Fire House Child Care recently spent a morning on top of Powder Mountain learning about wildflowers. The outing was the second of a five part series of nature walks hosted by volunteers from Ogden Valley Pathways. In future fieldtrips, students will be learning about wildlife, trees, and trail etiquette.
