Show September 21, 2001 The Summit County Bee Church Hymns. She was a perfectionist, very particular in everything that she did. She was a good cook, decorator, housekeeper and hard worker. She never liked to waste a minute of time. She was always kind, generous and loving to everyone. She loved her eight children with all her heart and considered them as her greatest accomplishment in her life. She always felt blessed to have 38 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Her greatest joys were being with her family and serving the Lord. She has always been a pillar of strength to her family, and had a deep love for the Gospel and a -strong testimony. We will miss her sweet smile and the love she had for us. She was very grateful to be surrounded by her family and friends during her illness. Survived by her husband, Derrald, Coalville; eight children, Barbara Joyce (Jim) Toole. Wanship; Melvin Derrald (Shirley) Chappell, Aberdeen, ID; Thomas George '? Helen Chappell Worker in the Ogden Temple for two years and was able to fulfill her desire to serve a mission to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mission under President and Sister Simpson from November 1999 to May 2001. She dearly loved the people of the South and made very endearing friendships. Their love and support through their fasting and prayers was a great strength to her during her illness. She served as a Judge of Election and opened her home as a voting place for District 21 for over 23 years. She was active in the county Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and 'the Coalville Camp. Served as DUP Captain for two terms. She was a charter member of the Coalville Ladies Literary Club. Her interests included: quilting, crocheting, antiques, dolls, traveling, her home, family book of and loved the remembrance's, Helen Joyce Bean Chappell. 72. beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, home on Sept. 14. at passed away She cancer. was greatly 2001, of loved and will be missed by her family. Born March 23, 1929, in Salt Lake City, to Joseph Armstrong Bean and Frankie Bain Bean. Graduated from North Summit High School with the Class of 1947. She married her high school sweetheart, Derrald Huffman Chappell, on June 17, 1947, in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints, Coalville Second Ward. She was very dedicated to all of her church callings serving and teaching in every auxiliary. She served in the Stake Primary Presidency for 17 years. Stake Relief Society Board and Ward and Stake Librarian.
