The JV Braves team has been playing excellent lately and had high hopes of winning their second game in a row. The first'quartcr was dominated by the Braves and their awesome defense. Elementary Plans For Halloween Events The Summit annual North School Halloween Elementary Parade route will be changed and shortened this year to make the parade less physically exhausting for the younger students. The new parade route will also eliminate the need to close down Main Street during the parade. The parade begin at the corner 100 South and 200 East (one block east of the high school) and proceed west to the intersection between the high school and middle school. The parade will turn right and go one block north, (to the swimming pool). The parade will then make a and follow the same route back to the elementary school. Time of the parade will be I p.m on Friday. Mr Olsen is trom Alpine Schixil District and taught for 33 years, but has how reined He worked at BYU on a observatory fix a while. He also winks fin the Christa McAuliffe Space Center in Pleasant Grove and sells telescopes 93,000 students have gone through that space center, and Mr. Brooks is looking into taking students there in the future. He has also been helping the sixth gradets build rockets. On Thursday. Oct. 21. they will be launching them all. Mr. Brooks said he likes how Mr. Olsen is working with the kids because all of the students each get to paint and assemble their own rocket, so that they are all different. Mr. Olsen got started in astronomy in the fifth grade. He said he likes astronomy because the universe is so strange.
