The money will be returned to our community and used to purchase shoes and clothing for those who may be in need. . The students of North Summit High School had the opportunity to listen to Amanda Dixon Sccger on Friday, Dec. 18. The assembly wu put on by the School to Careers committee at North Summit. Amanda is one of the voices heard mi the Grant and Amanda Show that is aired on KSL in mornings from 6:00 to 9:00. Amanda is also the voice of the Utah Statzz, and she has received a degree in law. Amanda talked to the North Summit students about communication in the workplace. She let the students know that she hu had 17 different jobs throughout her life. N.S. Braves vs. Rich Rebels Student Writer: Rebecca Richins The North Summit Braves varsity basketball team ran out on the court ready to play the Rich Rebels on Wednesday, Dec. 16. The game started off with excitement, and the . . : ' ! excitement lasted throughout the game. The first quarter both teams had a hard time getting into a rhythm and the quarter ended with a score of eight for both teams. The score went back and forth during the second quarter. Both teams were working hard to keep control of the .ball and turnovers. By the end of the first half, both teams were looking a little tired. After a needed break, the teams came back from the half ready to fight. During the third quarter the Braves started to come back and keep control of the ball a little more, but when the fourth quarter started the Braves slowed down and the Rebels kept up their rhythm. The game ended with the Rebels mi top by twelve. The final score was 62 to 50. It was a hard loss for the Braves, but they played a good game.
