Catholic Womans League Ogden The Executive Board members of the Catholic Womans League met at the home of Mrs. A. A. McBride on Friday afternoon, September 8th. Mrs. J. E. Loughran was assisting hostess. The first meeting of the year for the Catholic Womans League was held Tuesday afternoon, September 14th, at the Knights of Columbus Home. There was an extra large attendance due to the fact that the meeting was in honor of Monsignor P. M. Cushna-han- . Mrs. A. A. McBride, president of the n League, presided and in a few words welcomed our esteemed pastor. An expression of thanks was tendered the past president of the League, Mrs. T. D. Ryan, by the members. The reports of the different chairmen for last year were read and after the business session the afternoon was turned over to the well-chose- ( program chairman for the year, Mrs. W. G. Emley, who presented the following numbers: Piano election, Prelude in G Minor by Miss Ruth McBride; reading, Wheels of Time, by Miss Katherine Krauss; address, Monsignor Cushnahan. The Misses McBride and Krauss were each presented with a large basket of roses by Mrs. Don Maguire before their departure for St. Marys College at Notre Dame, Indiana. Refreshments were served by Mrs. J. . C. Baker, assisted by Mrs. Mattie Fisher, Mrs. J. E. Loughran, Mrs. M. R. Hampton, Mrs. F. R. Conroy, Mrs. E. A. Garcia, Mrs. Kenneth Jones, Mrs. J. E. Vail and Mrs. R. W. McGinnis. The tea tables were prettily decorated with pink candles in silver candlesticks, the center-piec- e bowl of fall being a large flowers. Mrs. J. E. Debano and Mrs. E.
