Recently the group met at their Utah State Recognition Days in Salt Lake City at the West Coast Hotel. Special guest for the event was Judy Ward, Utahs Regional Director from Las Vegas, Nevada. With the theme of Go For the Goal With TOPS many awards utd recognitions were received. The highlight of the weekend was the Royalty. These people have reached their goal and have lost the most weight in the state. The Utah State Queen in Lynn Benson from Roosevelt, with Launa Gae Lind-Ba- y from Orem as the queen runner-up- . The Utah State King is Brian KreitzerofParowan, with John Sayers from Ogden as the king runner up. Julies Business plan forher new business "American Maids," went through rigorous committee screenings, then as one of 12 finalists from around the state, Julie was required to do a presentation to a panel ofJudges at the Larry H. Miller center for entrepreneur-ship-, in Salt Lake City. Remington said that his greatest satisfaction while working for Moon Lake members was his involvement in the growth ofthe Moon Lake system and his association with other employees over the years as various projects have developed. According to Grant J. Earl, General Manager, Remingtons contribution and fine example to fellow employees has been a tremendous asset to the cooperative in meeting the needs of Moon Lakes membership. Kents vast knowledge and leadership skills have proven invaluable in building and maintaining Moon Lakes transmission and distribution systems, Earl Btated.
