Specific hours will be announced at a later date. But for you regulars, note that the Fiddle Fair will NOT be held the weekend after Labor Day this year due to a scheduling conflict. 7-- celebrain the past the e tion of fiddling will offer hours ofcontinuous FREE entertainment great for the entire family. Fiddlers, guitarists, and baiyo players, cowboy poets, country dancers, and more are invited to participate, and NOW is the time to sign up. Several free workshops open to the public are also being planned. The pageant will be held on August 12 at Duchesne High auditorium from 7 p.m. There will be an admission cost of $1 per person to attend. The contestants must be five to sixteen years old. Each contestant will be required to model a Bportswear of their choice and they will need o answer an interview question taken from the questions on the contestants entry form. Each contestant will be required to perform one talent. The talents may bot exceed 5 minutes in length. The categories will range from Tiny Miss Duchesne ages 5 and 6, Petite Miss Duchesne ages Little Miss andJuniorMisK Duchesncugus Duchesne ages 4-- Osborn Garmon Katrina R. Basin Fiddle Fair has grown in popularity each year, with a number of performers and audience members from not only Uintah Basin communities participating, but from distant parts of Utah as well and even some from surrounding states. The awards will consist ofribbons for the runners up, medals for the attendants and the queens of each categories will receive a crown, banner, trophy, and tee shirt. The cost is $15 per contestant payable to Susie Dye. Entries must be received by July 31. In order to register each contestant needs to pick up an entry form at Jubilee in Roosevelt or the Roosevelt Academy ofArts on Tuesdays. Entries are also available at the grocery stores in Duchesne, Altamont and the Sage in Tabiona.
