A reception and dance will be held in their honor that evening from 7 - 9 p.m., with dancing from 8 11 p.m. at the Tabiona Ward Cultural Hall. Karen is a graduate of Tabiona High School. She is presently employed at Sandy Regional Medical Clinic. Paul is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and is presently a field mechanic for Wheeler Machinery. They will make their home in Riverton, Utah. In case of an oversight, all friends and family are invited to share in their happiness. Rose Marie Bird and Marvin Gibson announce their marriage in the Vernal Temple on Saturday, Sept. 19. They will host an open house Saturday, from 5 - 7 p.m. at 1013 West 240 South in Roosevelt. Kaytlynn Marie Hackford celebrated her first birthday on Sept. 9. She is the daughter of Chub and Deborah Hackford. 3 - ' All band instruments are welcome to join from all Uintah Basin Communities. The band practices every Sunday evening. Future concerts include Christmas, Vernal Equinox and 1999 Summer Sunday Evenings in the Park. An Open House will be held the following evening, Sept. 19 from 8 p.m. at the DeMille residence at 656 E 400 S, Duchesne. In case of inclement weather it will be at the 1st and 3rd Ward Church, 130 S. 300 ,E. Duchesne. Sonya served an LDS mission to Texas, and is a graduate of SUU in Cedar City. She is now employed at KUED channel 7. Brian served a mission to Pennsylvania and is also a graduate of SUU. He is currently employed by Gart Brothers. TERRY HOFFMAN, Internist I DAVIES CELEBRATE 50 YEARS-Jo- hn R. and Freda Beal Davies will be honored at an open house commemorating their Golden Wedding Anniversary, Friday, Sept. 25 at the Duchesne Stake Center from 9 p.m. John R. and Freda were married Sept. 25, 1948. They have lived in Duchesne on a ranch north of town for 50 years. Both have been active in the LDS Church and have worked in the Provo Temple.
