Joe and Wende were united in marriage August 5 in a double ring ceremony at the Old Meetinghouse in Salt Lake. A reception honoring the newlyweds was held the same evening, with program and dancing. The newlyweds will honeymoon in the Caribbean, and then make their home in Murray, where the bride will continue her education at the Salt Lake Community College and continue working at American Express. The groom has graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in economics and is employed with United Parcel Service. Mr. and Mrs. H. Robert deMik, Sandy, Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Emery, Oak Grove, Missouri, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Marcia, to Stanley C. Remington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kent L. Remington, Altamont. The couple will be married Friday, Auguat 13, in the Jordan River LDS Temple. A reception will honor the couple Saturday, August 14, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Altamont LDS Stake Center.
