Clement, each scholarship, valued between 116,432 and $17,535, and n each scholarship, valued between' 38,216 and $8,767, may be used for. application fees and tuition toward a Bachelor of Science degree program in Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Operations, or telecommunications Management. The scholarship can be applied at any of the nine DeVry Institutes in. the Unite States. (Not all programs are offered at each institute.) Finalists will be determined on the basis of SAT, ACT or WPCT scores and will be announced in April of .1987. Scholarship recipients will be chosen on the basis of those scores, high school academic achievement, extracur--. ricular activities and an essay. SCHOOL SONG The Altamont Drill-Tea- Free seminar offered for single parents Charter Canyon Hospital in Orem is sponsoring a free seminar on coping with the demands of being a single parent on Wednesday, October 8, at 7 p.m. The seminar, entitled Going At it Alone: Coping with the Demands of Single Parenting, will explore the social, emotional, and practical dimensions of single parenthood. The presentation will discuss planning and dealing with the demands .placed on a single parent, with a special emphasis on preparing for the unique demands and celebrations of the holiday season. The seminar will be presented .
