October 1. 1986 Life Basin Standard dJJintah Woodwards celebrate 50 years "Os' f Bowden and Hackford will marry L Clifford and Letah Woodward, of Montwell, will celebrate their . golden wedding anniversary with an open house for friends and relatives on Tuesday, October 7, at the Moon Lake Electric Building in Roosevelt from 7 to 9 p.m. They request no gifts please. The event will be hosted by their children: Clell and Carolyn Don and Karma Woodward, Hunt, Arlo and Pam Iorg, all of Ronald and Karen Montwell; Dye, of Sacramento, California. A daughter, Mrs. Gene (Connie) Walton, passed away in 1974. They have 11 grandchildren and three great granddaughters. Cliff was bom in Maeser, and Letah was bom in Victor, Idaho. She came to the Basin with her family in 1917. They were married in Montwell on October 7, 1936 and was later solemnised in the Provo LDS Temple in Lisa Bowden and Alan Hackford will be married October 10 at the Sailor Citizen Center in v ' . All brought a lovely part of dinner which was delicious. Then Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Jetty Lee and baby, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lee, Stefanie Lee and baby, Mark Grace came and finished the work. Mrs. Connid Lees sister and husband Mr. and Mrs. Riley came Tuesday and brought a lovely dinner, fruits and vegetables and a lovely gift Connies husband Ray gave her roses. It was a wonderful 70th birthday, one to always remember. Even a lovely remem berance from Gay, Lamont Moon and family sending love from the misison in Japan. I pish to thank all my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives and friends for a week of love and goodness. I hope I didnt leave anyone out. The groom is the son of Mark T. and Bonnie Hackford of Lapoint. He has lived and attended school in Randolf and Vernal, attending Uintah High School. He was active in wreat-lin- g at Uintah.
