Show March 5. 1986, UINTAH BASIN STANDARD. Cast set for production Tri-Sta- ke The tryouti for the production of The Order is Love" have been completed and the caat haa bean announced. Tba production will be held in early May at Union High School and ticketa to aee your frienda and neighbora will be available in the local LDS Wards and Stakes. The main characters will be played by Kent Braddy, playing Matthew; Trade Merrdll, aa Cathering Ann; Hyrum Winter-ton- , in the part of Alonso Burrows; Dan Winterton, as Eraatua Palmar; and the teenage characters of Duncan, Minnie and Clarriaaa, played by Shane Carter, Kathy McKay and Winterton, respectively. These characters, and others will a portion of Mormon history, 'the United Order as it was lived in Orderville, Utah. The personal and interaction events of an entire town living the "all for one and one for all" type of life makes, for a humerous, poignant but entertaining production. The play is being directed by Linda Gilbert and Tri-Stak- e Le-An- re-ena- Tri-Sta- 3, 5, Cale Raza Kariene Young. They are part of over 70 churches in Utah and Idaho taking part. Glade Merrell and his son Mark of Rexberg, Idaho was down and visited with his parents the POrtor Merrell's. Glade and Mark went on to Oklahoma where Mark went for an interview. He just returned from a mission in Australia. e Saundra Nielson of Provo came out with Scott and Leslie Peterson of Orem where they spent the weekend visiting with the Dean Petersons, and Ferrin Petersons. Scott and Leslie accompanied the Ferrin Petersons to Green River for the Girls . - be removed. The Minute for Mission dealt with Guatemala. Elders Vicki Matthews and Dora Griffin assisted Pastor Glenn in serving Holy Communion. Prayers of thanksgiving were given for healing of individuals, as well as the country of the Philippines. He also visited with a neice Elaine Marett and her two children in Safford, AZ., his sister Anona Witt of Sacramento, CA., his sister LaRue Bell of Sandy also flew down the California with him. They aU celebrated their mother's 90th birthday on Sunday. LaRue will return with George this week. Our pastor, the Reverend Mr. Glenn conducted the W. Thomson service. He was assisted by Elder Vicki Matthews, who served as Lay Leader. The mornings scripture readings were from Psalm 103:1-1- . and Luke 13:1-9Exodus 3:1-1The childrens sermon was "Be Like a Good Tree, Says Jesus," The choir presented the anthem His Eye Is Ota The Sparrow. We are really blessed to have the choir; any additional voices would be welcomed at choir practice at the church on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. In addition, the combined choir for the Easter Sunrise Service has begun practicing at our church at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. Please check your priorities and see if you have a place in that choir. The title of todays sermon was "The Trouble Im In." ' Pastor Glenn concluded with the admonition to Spread the Good Word." To do so would enable someone else to share in worship ot the Lord, a benefit to that individual as well as to the larger church as a whole. BLUEBELL NEWS Garda Seeley Calvin and Janet Powell drove to Cedar City at the first of the week to attend funeral services for Ed Christensen husband of Ruth Powell Christensen (Calvin's sister and a former Bluebell resident.) He was killed in an automobile accident. 0 Elder Sterling Roberts returned on Friday night by plane from serving an 18 month L.D.S. Mission at Holland. His family met his at the Salt Lake Airport.
