She is presently just completing her modeling school classes and hopes to begin working later this year. Her goal is to be on her favorite soap Linda Williams and Melainea Frederick are models. Talent Find to be held August 12 Duchesne City - The Duchesne County Talent Find will be held August 12 at 7 High p.m. in the Duchesne School Auditorium. Participants must ba amateurs and register by August 8. The contest is open to vocal solos, duets, trios, quartets, instrumental solos, or any combination of instruments, novelty stunts, dance numbers, readings or dramatic numbers. Consolidated Diepatch A written letter from Sheriff Paulson was. reviewed by. the Councd which gave an estimation of the cost savings to tha Duchesne County Sheriffs Office with the new Consolidated Die-- . patching. Points brought up were that there were only estimates of the cost savings and not solid figures and the question as to whether after the first year if. Duchesne County ' would get charged a proportionate seconding to the number of calls. It was noted that these matters . will be. decided by the Governing Board after the first year of operation. Building Permit Fee Edytha Larsen requested time before the Council to ask for a reduction in her budding permit foe which has been doubled because she failed to purchase a permit before moving her mobile home onto the lot. Mrs. Larsen explained that 'aha had had not come to the City Office to. purchase the permit after riie had been notified it waa ready as she was getting ready to go out of town, but that the dealer had to move the mobile home in as he had a tight delivery schedule. The situation as the Council saw it waa that the work had been done before the permit had been purchased even though it had been applied for and that the ordinance does grant the Budding Official the right to double the fee if a permit is not obtained prior to commencement of the work.
