Our upper trades are also taking afternoon workshops and teaching reading. All grade levels have morning meetings with our sta termine needs. I couldn't ask more from such a dedicated staff. The teachers have also taken a minimum of eight hours to correlate our math curriculum to the core in very detailed lessons. We analyzed core tests for each grade level arid worked on concepts that need more time and eliminated those that we felt werent that critical. A timeline was refined so math skills could be reviewed and practiced prior to the spring test dates. The teachers gathered great hands-o- n materials and lessons to be shared with their grade level. . We have also implemented a character ed component tp our daily routine and I must . say, students have been veiy well behaved this year. With thd tragedy of September 1 1, and the Olympic Games, patriotism seems to be very evident and part of our routine. Parent involvement has been good. Ibacher and staff commitment has been exceptional. Students, for the most part are very engaged in their classwork.
