Tracy-Osborne-Dicks- 1. on 1977, & Associates, an Intermoun-tai- n insurance and bonding agency, will be known as and doing business as Affiliated Insurance Agency. Although the new agency will be doing business under the trade name of Affiliated Insurance Agency, the parent corporation is Dickson-Ackerlin- d & Associates, Inc. Corporate officers are James R. Dickson, Jr., president; Curtis E. Ackerlind, Jr., vice presiS. dent; and Dwane Egan, secretary treasurer. Prior to this change, Tracy-Osborne-Dicks- & on Associates was a wholly owned subsidiary of Tracy Collins Bank & Trust, the insurance arm of which had its roots going back to 1889; In 1973, Tracy Insurance Agency merged with Osbo- & Associates rne-Dickson and had been doing business until this most recent change. Negotiations for the new company began in late 1976. The former Tracy-Os-bome-Dicks- on agency accounted for approximately $4.2 million in gross sales during 1976 and according to Ackerlind, their goal is to top $5 million in sales in 1977. The agency presently employs 25 people, including account executives, clerical, support, and management. They represent 55 major insurance companies and specialize in property, liability, life, accident, casualty, surety bonds, and are one of the largest aviation insurance writers in the Intermountain area. Hotels Shuffle Management The Rodeway Inn of Salt Lake has announced the appointment of Pam Petty as its new director of sales. Transferring to the Rodeway from the Salt Lake Hilton, Petty is one of a number of recent management changes made since the hotel wTas purchased recently by Pearson for $4.2 million. Final papers were signed and escrow closed Feb. 22. On that day, Jim and Vickie Bradley became new managers of the local hotel, having transferred here from Salem, Oregon. We do not anticipate making changes in management or bringing in any new managers at this time, reported Vickie Bradley. She added she expected to make no price increases in the near future. Terence OMalley, a San Diego, Calif, attorney representing Royal Inn of America, Inc., the sale price included assumption of an existing $2.8 million mortgage, a promissory note for $477,000 and $900,000 cash. The real property accounted for $700,000 of the $900,000 cash, O'Malley said.
