Director Fred Jones will purchase a Bingo set, scrabble, checkers, cribbage and will get prizes for the first official Bingo party, January 26th. If we can get enough senior citizens to participate on Wednesdays, the building will be open to senior citizens more afternoons, depending on demand, but for now it is games and Bingo each Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. The county commissioners, at their January 18 meeting, reappointed Ruth Murray from Myton to the council for a three year term. As of this writing, no one has signed up to go to Vernal for the retirement workshop. Arnold were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 10, 1976. A double ring ceremony waa performed by Elder Benjamin Bowring. Sherilyn is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert C. Young of Tabiona. Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Jay Arnold of Salt Lake City. a A wedding dinner followed at Restaurant in Salt Lake. The couple were honored at a reception that same evening in the Tabiona Ward Cultural Hall. A high collar with lace and long sleeves with cuffs was accented with a double row of lace. The bottom of her dress was emphasized with a ruffle and lace. Her waist length veil and headpiece had matching lace. She carried a bouquet of dried flowers in fall colors and real peach roses and ribbons. VaLona K. Fabrizio served as Matron of Honor to the bride. Kathy Ann Oman, Linda Hallows and Julee Folland served as bridesmaids. They wore pink, peach and white print blouses and empire peach jumpers. Their bouquets included flowers of fall colors. Serving as flower girls were: Wendy, Melissa and Katie Fabrizio. They wore dresses made of printed blouses with puff sleeves and ruffles at the bottom with lace trimming. The mothers of the bride and groom dresses with wore peach print long sleeves, cuffs and collar. They wore corsages made of buttercups, flowers of fall colors and peach ribbons. Bich Williams served as best man to A-li- the groom. Rany Arnold, Kim Arnold, and Mark Bamer served as ushers. They all wore dark brown tuxedos. The wedding cake was three layers with flowers of fall colors draped down the top layer. The middle layer was emphasized with angels. Flowers were arranged around the edge of the cake. Newcomers club hold meeting Newcomers dub held their regular monthly meeting January 20 at the Frontier Grill where the club meets the third Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. for lunch. Sixteen members were present for the January meeting. President, Eula Von Bostick conducted the meeting. Kay Smith was in charge of the afternoon program, which consisted of a film on 'Outreach", presented by Kay La brum. The next meeting will be held February 17, and Bingo will be played. Annette graduated from Duchesne high school where she was studentbody secretary, aad cheerleader. She has attended Brigham Young University and is a member of the Honors Program. While there she was a member of BYITs Ballroom Dance Team, and President of the honor society Alpha Lambda Delta. Annette served a jsiiasion for the LDS Chruch in Minnesota. Joe attended Union high echoed where he as active in sports, speech and drama, and was chosen Valedictorian of the Class of 1972. He served a mission for the LDS Church to Finland. Joe is presently attending Brigham Young University and is a member of the honors program. Joe and Annette will be married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April seventh. A reception will be held in their honor on April eighth at the Duchesne Stake Center. An Open House will be held the following evening, April ninth, in Brigham City for friends and relatives.
