Show the following: Moon Lake Electric r, annual meeting set for Feb. 5 Hie date has been established and plans are well underway liar this year's annual meeting of members of the Moon Lake Electric Association. The meeting is scheduled lor Saturday, February 5 at 1 p.m. at Roosevelt Junior high school with registration beginning at 10 a.m. and dosing at 1p.m. According to Moon ljfa officials the company. considerable time and effort goes into planning a meeting that will be informative, entertaining, and serve as a means for all members to present their views. However, basic considerations which will take precedence over all others include Utah, District 8; Wayne Pickup, Rand-letUtah and Ineumbent. Willard Wall, Randlett, Utah, were nominated for the position of director for a two year term at a District Nominating Meeting for District 4. Since the nominating meeting Mr. Wayne Pickup withdrew his nomination and Grant Gerber, RFD Roosevelt, Utah has been nominated by petition for director from District 4. A director is, first of all the peoples representative. He and other elected directors determine the policy under which the cooperative is operated. His constant desire should be to provide adequate, continuous electrical service at the lowest possible rate. He must also act t, Annual Reports The president, secretary-tressureand the manager of the cooperative will make a report on what has occured during the past year. Every member has the right and the duty to ask for answers to any questions about the operation of Election Of Directors The following members have been nominated for the position of director for a three year term at District Nominating Meetings: Incumbent, Calvin J. Monks, Myton, Utah, District 2; E. W. Long, District 6 and 7; Rangely, Colo Incumbent, Lloyd C. Nelson, Roosevelt. as part of the elected body. No one director can make any policy derision as an individual, but must act in accord with the entire body. Action On A change in has been proposed which would provide for all consumers to become members and the collection of membership fees discontinued. This would give all consumers the opportunity to vote and have a voire in affairs of the cooperative. It is also proposed that the use of proxies be eliminated. Both of these proposals should simplify registration and help eliminate possible irregularities in elections. Members signing proxies this year are cautioned that all ' ..
