Mrs. Vera Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Heber Timothy traveled to Southern Utah and down to the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon. They visited historical sites in Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Larry McKee were over from Tridell over the weekend visiting Mrs. Norma Jessen and family. Out visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fields ted and Vera Holder were Mr. and Mrs. Dee Holder, Mrs. Gene Sargent, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Fieldsted and Mrs. Velma Fieldsted. Shirley Shiner and girls went to Salt Lake over the weekend for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Iorg and families were out visiting with their father, Mr. Hershal Iorg over the weekend. Mr. Jack Fisher was out for the Memorial weekend and visiting with his daughter, Mrs. Terry Fieldsted. Weekend guests at the George Fisher Jr. home were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Pollard of Bountiful, Mr. and Mrs. Linford Maxfield, Salt Lake, Mr. Jack Fisher, Salt lake, Deon Sax and Max Lewis of Olympics tournament held at the University of Utah. Norman Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hanson, brought home two silver 2nd place metals in the softball throw and the 50 yd. dash. Tina Timothy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs LaVear Timothy brought home a gold metal for 1st place in the softball throw. e Verl Whitehead, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Whitehead brought home a silver metal for 2nd place in the 50 yd. dash. They spent two days doing events at the University. Mrs. Norman Hanson and Mrs. Maxine Manzanares were teachers who went with the group and Mrs. : Margaret Timothy went as a chaperone. The third grade put on a special music i ' concert last week for the school and parents. They did a great job and had been taught a number of songs that they performed. Mr. and Mrs. Ott Beeke were out for Decoration Day and then they went to Vernal to visit their brother, Gib Beeke who is still in the hospital after suffereing from two heart attacks.
