HERE ARE THE FACTS How many Americans are aware that there may be an inexpensive and, in a number of cases, an effective treatment to control cancer which is being deliberately withheld by the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the pharmaceutical industry? In his book entitled 'Freedom From Michael L. Culbert reveals that Cancer, as of 1976, the projected death rate from being told that the researchers are on the verge of a great breakthrough. But the cancer rate continues to soar. a There must be a better approach area in the Himalaya Mountains, between West Pakistan, India, and China, is a tiny kingdom called Hunza. Its inhabitants are known world over for their amazing longevity and good health. Visiting medical teams from the outside ' world report that there has never been a case of cancer in Hunza. Why? Their staple die is the apricot, including the kernel, which is especially rich in vitamin 7. The same holds true of the Eskimos, as long as they stick to their native diet, which, though very different from that of the Hunzakuts, is rich in 7. However, when either the Hunzakuts or the Eskimos depart from their native diets and adopr the menus of other countries, they soon succumb to the same diseases and including cancer. The theory is that as our food has been continuously refined for convenience, taste, and pleasant appearance, the B-content has been removed, to the point where we of cancer expected to be diagnosed in 1976, the incidence of, and fatalities from, cancer have reached the highest levels in recorded PROMOTE - BIG GOVERNMENT Common Cause, an organization founded ty John Gardner in 1970, is frequently described as Americas largest public-interlobby. Its origins are Liberal. Its leadership is Liberal. The issues it supports are predominantly Liberal. In short. Common Cause promotes Liberalism and Big Government. A form letter put out by Common Cause in 1976 speaks of the need for An an end to corruption in government. The total exceeding SI 1 billion for the fiscal year ending next September 30, 1977 will be the largest in history except for the Vietnam war years when military aid alone totaled more than $5 billion yearly. In terms of economic assistance, the U.S. foreign aid package will be the biggest in history. . Nearly $9 billion in grants and loans will be handed out to help feed people abroad and build up weak or undeveloped economies during the coming year. The other $2 billion will go into military aid, helping other nations strengthen their defense forces in regions ranging from the crisis-ridde- n Middle East to countries bordering the Soviet Union and China mainland. This amount of military aid could double if the Carter administration and the new congress should approve requests for military aid now pending from Israel and Turkey. The latter requests are expected to spark a full-scareview of the foreign aid program by. the incoming Carter administration to determine the full extent of the pledges made by Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in his role as the international peacekeeper and negotiator. Nearly S3 billion of the current year's foreign aid funds le i voted by Congress are earmarked for nations of the Middle East to support Secretary Kissingers settlements in that area. Israel will get most of the money SI billion for buying American-mad- e munitions and $735 million for economic aid. Egypt is earmarked for. S700 million in economic aid with Syria getting S80 million and Jordan . receiving S70 million. AID FOR AFRICA Another beneficiary of increased U.S. aid is black Africa. An estimated $360 million is presently set aside for that region during the current year. But this huge gift appears only to be the start for Africa. Under a plan drafted by Secretary of State Kissinger and being left for the new Carter administration, an additional S500 million would be contributed by the U.S. to an international program to help ty Rhodesia convert to black-majori- rule. The proposed Rhodesia aid plan has caused Senator James B. Allen the Senates leading critic of the increased foreign aid, to denounce, it as a policy of through dollar appeasement diplomacy. This link between Secretary Kissingers diplomacy and the rise in foreign aid was also highlighted ). by Senator Frank Church In discussing the connection recently, Church stated: (D-Al- a), (D-Ida- Kissinger has linked American aid more directly with negotiated settlements.
