Show J,l. 20 CLIPPER Friday, September 24, 1993 CONTEST DEADUNE: Theres stille time to enter this weeks Clipper Football Contest. Just fill out the entry form, found in Tuesdays sports section, and ' visit one of the participating sponsors to enter by 5 p.m. Friday. Participating sponsors include Dan Easjman Jeep EagleSuzuki, Texaco Express Lube, Cyclemania, Rays Muffler, The Right Cut, Robintinos, Mail Express Plus, Coldwell Banker Premier and Majestic Grain. RAPTOR DAY: Utahs first Raptor Watch Day is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event, aimed at increasing awareness of and appreciation for Utahs spectacular birds of prey, is sponsored by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, in conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service, Hawkwatch International. Raptor Flyways and other conservation organizations. Six watch sites will be set up around northern Utah where visitors can observe, enjoy and discover migrating birds of prey. Volunteers will count birds and give talks on raptor identification and migration at each watch site. Event sponsors hope that, beyond the thrill of seeing migrating birds closely. Raptor Watch Day will help biologists learn more about fall raptor migrations through Utah. The watch sites and sponsors are listed below: Call Bob Waters at 538-477- 1, for more information. Were not to the point where we can look past anybody. We are playing good teams, he said. I dont like to lose, it bothers me, but as long as we play up to the skill level and intensity were capable of, well be all right. The Lady Braves traveled to Skyline Thursday. (Results were not available at press time.) VIEWMONT 11, Highland 0 BOUNTIFUL The Lady Vikings grabbed a share of first place Tuesday with an easy win over the winless Rams. Viewmont improved to 52 and into a first place tie with Bountiful and Dayis in Region 2. Viewmont returned to Dees Family to enjoy the newly remodled interior and the smokeless atmosphere.
